KataKota.com-Lama tak terdengar kabarnya di dunia musik, Green Day kembali merilis single di penghujung tahun 2015. Single terakhir “State of Shock” dirilis pada 2014 lalu, band yang telah berdiri sejak 1986 silam ini kembali dengan single bertema Natal.
Billie Joe Armstrong cs meluncurkan single Natal dengan genre punk rock berjudul “Xmas Time of the Year”. Namun, single tersebut tak memiliki video musik dan hanya berupa audio saja.
“Seasons greeting cards and Christmas/ Let’s light up the city/ At the end of the year,” bunyi suara husky Billie. “Sleigh bells/ deck the halls with good will/ Say a prayer for lost souls/ Christmas time of the year.”
Saat ini, band yang digawangi oleh 3 member ini tengah sibuk membuat video dokumenter “Heart Like a Hand Grenade”. Video tersebut akan bercerita tentang proses recording single hits sepanjang masa Green Day “American Idiot” pada 2004 lalu. (kk/chy)
